Description
JOB DUTIES:
- Working in developing logging solutions for various systems using Java, logstash, Kafka.
- Choice of language will be dependent on project and as needed basis.
- The candidate should be smart enough to pick technology fast and able to trouble shoot through systems.
- The role will also include coordination tasks, to make sure all teams are logging using common framework are following correct standards.
- Person will have to make sure of QA integration tasks and also monitor once the systems go to production.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 4-5 years of JAVA experience Logging & Monitoring experience
- Knowledge understanding of Kafka Programming experience with logstash Aware of logging libraries like log4j, logback etc
- Experience with ELK/Splunk is good Experience with Spark streams a plus
DESIRED SKILLS:
- How to work with multiple teams CI/CD process in particular - GIT (Bitbucket), Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
- Knowledge of NoSQL Databases ( Elastic, Redis)
- Knowledge of Big Data systems like HIVE to save logs
- Knowledge of secure coding with OWASP coding practices
