Java Developer Contract Job - Java, SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Groovy - Banking - Zurich
Are you a Java Developer looking for a new contract opportunity? Do you want to work in an important team in a Tier One Swiss Bank? Do you have an analytical mindset and a passion to create high quality software? If yes, then this could be the ideal contract opportunity for you.
You will be joining a big and business-critical team within Pricing Services. You will be working on a software that calculates commissions and fees. More specifically, you will be working on a project for one of the banks' clients who want to change their Brokerage Pricing Model. This involves very complex models, rules and conditions. The goal is eventually to change a huge set of Pricing rules automatically.
Technically you are expected to have very good Java and SQL or PL/SQL skills. Furthermore, you should have experience with XML and Groovy, Due to the complexity of the Pricing Models, you should have an analytical mindset and ideally have experience with such models. Some experience with Business Analysis and Project Management would also be a plus.
