Java Developer - Prague - 300€
A large financial organization is seeking a Java developer to work on a brand new project. The ideal candidate will a strong background developing in Java and with Back End technologies. Great opportunity to get into financial services and no prior experience in this field is required.
Team members should possess and demonstrate the following technical skills and qualification:
o Practical experience development of standard & enterprise Java applications (3 years or more)
o Excellent Java programming skills
o Experience with SQL databases
Experience with the following technologies is a plus:
o JavaEE Back End technology (JPA 2.0, JMS, EJB 3)
o JavaEE Application Servers (eg WebLogic/JBoss)
o UML usage, design patterns
o Jenkins, Sonar integration tools
o Knowledge of unit testing tools such as Junit/Mocking Frameworks
o Knowledge of Oracle Database Server and PL/SQL
The following interpersonal skills are essential:
o Critical thinking, the ability to identify problems and propose solutions
o English is mandatory and this includes good English writing skills
o An interest in the financial world (Mutual/Hedge Funds) is appreciated
