Mentmore are currently recruiting for a Software Architect for our client, a leading organisation who are undertaking a large programme. They are looking to bring on board an experienced Software Architect with Java and software application experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- As Tech/Software Architect you will be responsible for designing software applications that meet business, functional and technical requirements, and you will lead various dev. teams and work closely together with the Project Manager/Delivery Manager to ensure the delivery of the solutions to their customers.

Responsible for the overall quality of the delivery (code review, test coverage, documentation.

Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.

Lead development streams following Agile (Scrum) project mythology and practices, reporting progress, status and risk to Project and/or IT Manager.

You will lead coordinate development teams

Understand business requirements and convert them into solution design using modelling languages.

Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, extensibility etc.

Collaborate with professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements.

Architecture vision (scalability

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with good senior-level stakeholder management soft skills and competencies.
Required Skills:

Minimum 10 years of experience as Software Architect

Proven experience leading development teams

Excellent knowledge of software application design and architecture

Excellent knowledge of UML, and other modelling models
-
Sound experience in the following technologies: Java SE, JEE and/or Spring, Junit, Angular JS, Angular, SOA Principals, Security patterns, Java.

Microservices, Docker, Containers, Orchestration (Swarm, Kubernetes).

Background: Telecommunications

Language skills: French would be a plus not required
