Automation tester - Brussels - £450 per day
Automation Tester based in Brussels on an initial 12 month contract that may extend up to 3 years at a public services organisation.
Key responsibilities
* Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with information projects
* Provide leadership and technical expertise within Test Automation and Quality Assurance.
* Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the test strategy as defined.
* Driving and improving the test team in areas of automated testing and agile testing.
* Provide technical expertise in Test Automation, Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams.
Person specification/skills
* Knowledge of building sophisticated and highly automated infrastructure
* Knowledge to Design, develop and implement Test Plans, Cases & Processes.
* Knowledge to Preparing and execute test cases/scenarios (with datasets).
* Experience working with complex end-to-end processes that span multiple systems. Experience of both Front End and Back End testing automation
* Minimum 5 years of experience with implementing testing automation frameworks and tests in Java
* Experience working in Agile environments
* Selenium
* Cucumber
* Confluence/Jira/XRay
The working languages are both English and French.
