Java Developer
TEKsystems Global Services are currently working on an Engagement with a high profile Investment Bank based in Dublin.
The client is building out a number of teams, and we anticipate a long term engagement here with excellent opportunities to gain financial experience
This greenfield project is to enhance and modify the online global payments application.
The successful candidate should have the following skills;
- Strong Java development skills (preferably Java 8)
- SQL Programming Competency (with practical experience of at least one RDBMS, preferably Oracle)
- Strong understanding of software build/release mgmt (with at least one build tool eg ANT, Maven, Gradle)
- Good understanding of unit testing concepts
- Experience using Spring
- Familiarity with development patterns
- Proactively own and resolve details of high level tasks
- Enjoy team working environment
- Demonstrate an understanding of operational aspects of managing a software stack
