Java Developer - Jersey - 6 months
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Java Developer to join our Banking client based in Jersey on a 6 month initial contract.
Role requirements:
- Experience of Java development
- Experience of developing JSON Microservices in Java
- Experience of automated unit testing using Junit
- Experience of documenting code to a high standard
- Experience of working with Maven for producing builds
- Substantial experience of using the Spring framework including boot and object relational mapping functionality
- Substantial experience of using GIT for source control
- Substantial experience of using the Eclipse IDE
Desirable experience:
- Experience of working on Agile delivery (highly desirable)
- Experience of working with IBM iSeries databases and MQ on the iSeries
- Experience of banking and payment systems would be an advantage
- Experience of Jira would be an advantage
