Description
Senior Java Developer/Architect sought by government organisation based in Brussels.
The Application Architect will be involved in the design and development of business solutions using:
* J2EE technologies
* Web-services (REST/SOAP)
* RDBMS in the framework of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
The Application Architect will be responsible for:
* Provision of technical expertise on J2EE technologies
* Design and development of software and building blocks
* Analysis of the integration of different information systems
* Data analysis and Datamodelling
* Coordination of the implementation of the software development
* Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
* Technology watch
* Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
The expertise required is technical:
* Java 7/8, Spring 4/5, Hibernate 3, Junit, Maven, Git, JMS, Liquibase, Angular 2
* Transport protocols: TLS, ebms3, AS4. Web services: CXF, WSS4J. Network: DNS, DNSSEC
* Testing: Junit, SOAP UI. Application Servers: Wildfly 9 and above, Tomcat 8 and above, Weblogic 12c
* Database: Oracle 11g, MySQL 5 and 6
* Continuous integration: Bamboo, SonarQube. Containerization: Docker
* Cloud: Proven experience with BaaS and PaaS
* Excellent knowledge and significant working experience in the deployment of large systems using web-services (SOAP, REST)
* Excellent knowledge of web security related to the deployment of SOA (WS-Security and SSL/TLS, PKI)
