Operational Research Scientist/Mathematical Modellers
Ideally located in Lille (remote considered)
£600 per day for an initial 6 months with long extensions
We are working with a Global consultancy working on a large scale programme of works across the UK and France for a retail client.
You will have experience of working on industrial scale optimization problems within a retail setting.
Requirements:
- Pick -route optimization in stores
- Network optimization
- Spatial optimization
- People and resource optimization
- Price optimization
- Work collaboratively with datascience team
- Deep mathematical optimisation techniques
- Experience of stochastic, dynamic, or robust optimnisation problems
- Develop rapid prototypes of your optimization algorithms in any of python, Java, Scala etc
- Extremely creative, demonstrating innovation to apply/modify existing an new techniques when tailoring them to a business specific area
- Combinatorial optimization experience usinig a pragmatic blend algorithms
- Produce benefits trackers
- Produce data condition models
