Description: Migrating a complete (Java) application landscape to AWS. Including adapting the applications to run well on native cloud infrastructure (making them suitable for container, connectivity to cloud native connectivity services, databases to managed variants).
The cloud team provides a platform on which our colleagues in the business units can host their applications. This platform is based on Azure and AWS.
Skills Required:
- HBO or master informatics/computer science
- Other higher technical education (mathematics, mechanical engineering, etc) is also good, but with a lot of practical experience and a passion for IT.
- Certificate: AWS professional and preferably something in the field of Kube or docker, and/or Java.
- Experience with migrations of Java applications to a container/AWS environment (minimum 3 years).
- Refactoring Java applications: broad knowledge of the IT field, with in particular: experience with cloud (AWS, especially EKS, RDS, network and IAM), CI/CD (Jenkins, test automation), Java development and security.
