Description
Resource 1 is seeking a Web Application Developer with experience using Python, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and jQuery for a 12-month contract with our client located in Chicago. This hands-on and highly technical role will focus on developing new and maintaining existing Python applications in an Agile environment. Familiarity with build tools such as Jenkins and BitBucket as well and utilizing Jira for tracking will be very helpful. Individual will work on an eight-person development team to create a Python packages and prepare it for distribution to users. The position will also involve web development and helping with builds, tooling and delivering Python code from development to the production environment (CI/CD).
Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience with of Python (2 or 3)
- Experience with Java (Not required, nice to have)
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
- Knowledge of Python package management (Anaconda and/or pip)
- Experience with Jenkins and Bitbucket build tools.
- Experience with SQL Server 2016
