Description
For our prestigious customer, we are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer for an initial 2 year contract with a chance for extension, ensuring stability for your project.
The Senior Data Engineer will have demonstrated experience as a Software Engineer/Data Engineer with the Hadoop ecosystem. The Data Engineer will support the software developers, database engineers and data analysts on data initiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture.
Tasks
- Create and maintain data pipelines
- Experience with complex data sets
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
- Build the infrastructure required for optimal loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and big data' technologies.
Skills
- Experience as a Data Engineer
- Highly experience with big data tools in a Hadoop ecosystem: NiFi, Hive, HDFS, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
- DevOps experience (CI/CD)
- Experience as a Data Engineer
