Java Expert

€400 - €425 per day
12-month ongoing contract (3-5-year project)
My Client are a globally leading Organisation and are looking for an English-speaking Java Expert to join their ongoing project In Brussels, Belgium. You will be integrated into the team where you will work closely with the IT team on site.
Your tasks:
* Provision of expert assistance, technology watch, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT infrastructure technology
* Preparation of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements related to information system infrastructure services or projects
*Assistance in the implementation of a software engineering methodology
* Provision of technical evaluations, risk analysis and audit reports
Your skills:
* Minimum 5 years of combined relevant university studies and experience in IT
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise applications (Oracle WebLogic preferred) and relational databases (Oracle DB preferred)
* Experience in Jira, SQL, Unix and Shell Scripting
* Knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices will be considered an asset
* Capability of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment and participation in multi-lingual (EN and/or FR) meetings
