Description

People Source Consulting are recruiting several Digital Developers for a well respected client based in Glasgow.

About the job:
Design, create and improve new and existing products, platforms and transactions across the business. You'll work within a multi-disciplinary team of developers, designers, editors and analysts focused on 1 or more projects or products. Build web and mobile products to serve a variety of users' needs. Implement APIs for internal and external use. Build up a useful, robust automated test suite to support a Continuous Deployment environment.

About you:
- Experience with Java 8 or above
- Experience with Clojure
- Experience in JavaScript, React and Redux
- Experience with RabbitMQ
- Expoerience with Mongo DB
- Knowledge of Pair Programming
- Knowledge of Agile development techniques (Kanban, User Stories)
- Knowledge and experience of using version control systems (GitLab)
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture
- Knowledge of unit testing

The position will be for at least 6 months and are inside IR35.

For these positions the successful candidate needs to be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance.
