Our client is looking for a Technology Expert to join them on a 12 month contract in Luxumbourg.
Nature of the tasks
- Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch,solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of ICT Enterprise technology, enterprise & web content management, XML,interoperability, business activity monitoring and business intelligencedriven development, Identity & Access Management, information security technologies, .NET technology, application life cycle management, test portals, business process management and rule execution engines, infrastructure technology ( eg database management systems, Java evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests,system infrastructure services or projects evaluations and service level agreements associated with information
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting
- Development and maintenance of software applications
- Development and integration of technological components
- Implementation of user requirements
- Integration with other applications
- Writing of technical documentation
- Assistance in the implementation of a software engineering methodology
- Provision of security studies, security assessments and other specific security matters related to ICT infrastructures
- Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
- Elaboration of vision documents focused upon infrastructure components
- Risk analysis
- Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures
- Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with information systems infrastructure
Languages
- Good knowledge of English. French would be an asset.
Knowledge and skills
- Deep knowledge in one or more domains of the study required for the function (eg quality control, security, infrastructure, development language, knowledge of technology required, requirements analysis, performance analysis, a specific technical domain like vulnerability testing, business process modelling, etc.)
- Good knowledge of business process analysis
- Knowledge of interoperability technology (eg web services, message oriented Middleware, service oriented bus)
- Good knowledge of application development environments
- Good knowledge of the design and development of web and multi-tier
- applications
- Good knowledge of modelling tools (eg UML)
- Knowledge about responsive, multi-device development (eg desktop,
- laptop, tablet, smartphone)
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (eg RUP,
- AGILE)
- Knowledge and experience with relational database systems (Oracle)
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good

- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
- Minimum thirteen (13) years' experience in IT.
