UI/UX Developer (Tibco Spottfire) - London - 12 months - £66.50 ph (umbrella)
My client is a renowned Oil and Gas major who has an exciting opportunity for a UI/UX Developer to join an initial 12 months contract in Central London. The rate on offer is up to £66.50 per hour via an umbrella company as the position inside IR35.
UI/UX DEVELOPER DUTIES;
+ Deliver tools and applications that bring data to life
+ Lead visualisations and UI/UX Development
+ Develop tools directly on top of and within Tibco Spotfire platform
+ Demonstrating and pathfinding new UI/IX and data visualisation technologies
+ Involvement in Real Time data streaming
+ Design, build, test and release end to end solutions
+ Provide guidance to other team members
UI/UX DEVELOPER SKILLS;
+ Data visualisation tools and technologies
+ Proven track record in creative data visualisation
+ Skills in Front Office commodity trading or banking would be advantageous
+ Skilled in extending the Tibco Spotfire platform
+ Ideally skills in one or more of the following - web services/C#/Java/IronPython/Python
This role would suit a UI/UX Developer who is adaptable to change, versatile and uses best practice development techniques. You will need to be comfortable in communicating with trading business users and can translate business needs into tangible IT deliverables.
