Senior Java Developer
Exciting opportunity for a Senior Java Developer to join a progressive technology company.
You will be doing full life cycle development using Java, Spring, AWS, MongoDB, Kubernetes, and microservices. You will be designing and building Java applications for external clients. You will work with onshore and offshore Developers, stakeholders, Business Analysts, and Testers. You will also mentor and provide technical leadership to other Developers.
You will be working in an Agile environment with an offshore team. You must be able to do daily 7:00 AM meetings with the offshore team. You can take the call at home and then go into the office.
This is a 6 month contract position in the Sandy Springs area. Potential opportunity to telecommute up to two days a week after you get established. Excellent opportunity to make an impact on high profile projects.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7+ years of Java Development experience
- 4+ years of Spring experience
- Cloud experience (prefer AWS)
- Microservices
- Experience working with offshore teams
- Database experience (prefer MongoDB)
- Strong experience with data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
- Consultative and collaborative personality
- Ability to be creative and think outside the box for technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills
