Software Engineer (SC Clear) - 6 months OUTSIDE IR35 - Newport
Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious public sector organisation, who is looking to recruit Software Engineers on a 6-month contract basis, this role will be reporting to their site in Newport.
Please note the role requires SC Clearance!
You will receive a competitive daily rate between £450 and £550 and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.
You will be responsible for the support and further enhancement and development of the in-house applications, utilising the Java and Oracle technical stack.
I would love to hear from Software Engineers with knowledge of Java/Oracle/Weblogic technologies who have relevant experience in a Big Data environment and skills including:
- Extensive experience of software development and support utilising the Java technology stack.
- Use of object-oriented design patterns and Java industry standard approaches.
- Demonstrable experience of application support and development utilising relational databases and best practice in relation to code quality analysis
- Sound communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of tools/technologies that include: Eclipse IDE, Oracle SQL Developer, Toad, Ant, Maven, Jenkins, Sonar, Spring, Struts, WebLogic, Git, Jira, Confluence.
