Duties
Software Developer to develop and maintain JCHAT software modules and Friendly Force Tracking (FFT) software modules.
JCHAT
The software developer will perform the following activities:
- Develop/test JCHAT client software components
- Develop JCHAT online help and update design documentation
- Support the automate JCHAT software integration and deployment to the test platform.
- The software developer may also be requested to provide ad-hoc JCHAT support.
FFT
The software developer will perform the following activities:
- Develop/test FFT software components and update design documentation
- Develop FFT test scripts for the FFT Test Tool
- Support the automate FFT software integration and deployment to the test platform.
- The software developer may also be requested to provide ad-hoc FFT tools support
Required
Software developer with the following qualifications:
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in system and software design and development of Graphical User Interface using Java, JavaScript and schematron/XSLT.
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in using JDBC.
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in using development tools (eg Maven, Jira, TestRail) and methodologies (eg Agile).
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in documenting source code and design, online help.
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in continuous software integration and automated deployment on Windows, Linux and Solaris platforms.
Skill, Knowledge & Experience:
Practical experience in the following areas is also desired:
- The candidate has relevant and recent knowledge and usage of JChat.
- The candidate has relevant and recent experience in working with a software development team.
