Description
My client is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer that has a strong background in either IBM, Azure or AWS working on some high profile projects.
You must have 3-5 years experience in Cloud Engineering in an enterprise environment.
Key Skills:
Cloud Stack preference: IBM if not, Azure as secondary and AWS. They understand IBM skills are short in market, so happy for candidate to transfer skills. Have Hands on Design/Build experience from scratch (green fields) - As they are in the initial stages of developing the underlining IBM cloud platform, as opposed to building/migrating on top of it. Experience with Hashicorp and in particular Terraform. Experience with Openshift or just Vanilla Kubernetes. Familiar to Java programming - not at a developer level, but good basic level (a nice to have) From a soft skills perspective: Someone willing to be hands on and proactive, learn as required and help drive the customer cloud program forward. They need to be able to design/config/deploy the solution
