Description
We're looking for a Software Engineer to work on mobile applications that will be used by tens of millions of customers around the world. We want someone who enjoys solving tough problems and working with new technologies. This person should be obsessive about user experience and beautiful code.
As an Android Engineer, you'll be part of the Mobile Engineering team whose mandate is to develop new products and platforms for customers.
Mobile Engineering's aim is to build interactive experiences at all touch points of a consumer's journey whether before, at, or after the time of purchase.
You'll be working in a fast-paced, global environment. Your primary responsibility will be to work with a team of designers and engineers developing mobile products.
Responsibilities
* Working with team mates, Product Managers, designers and your Engineering Manager to build and ship new features in the Android apps
* Groom user stories
* Implement assigned user stories
* Fix bugs as assigned
* Fix Android build issues as assigned
* Ensure all code has appropriate test coverage
* Review pull requests and provide details feedback
* Actively participate on Slack, Github and JIRA
Experience
* 5 years + commercial Android development experience
* Java
* RX Java
* Kotlin
* Full life cycle development experience
* Understanding of Mobile development architecture
