My client is looking for a Fluent English-speaking Technology Expert to join their ongoing project in Brussels.
This is an opportunity to work for an exciting and dynamic company working on a long-term major project in an international, multilingual environment where you can add a real presence to the team whilst the role offers a fantastic package.
Tasks:
- Provision of expert advice and assistance, evaluation studies, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices
- Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with information system infrastructure services or projects
- Assistance in the implementation of a software engineering methodology
- Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise
- Elaboration of vision documents focused upon infrastructure components
- Risk analysis
- Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures
- Provision of technical evaluations and audit reports in relation with information systems infrastructure.
Requirements
- Minimum of 14 years of combined IT studies and IT professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of Java and Java Enterprise
- Very good experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Unix, including Shell Scripting basics
- Very good experience with DevOps and Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Middleware infrastructure and web Servers, in particular WebLogic
- Experience in Database Administration
- Capability to write clear and structured technical documents
- Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings, very good communication skills
- Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment
- Ability to work proactively and independently
- Knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of the English language, oral and written.
