Java Developer - Spring, Hibernate, API, Micorservices
Will be Umbrella engagement from April 6th
Working in within A digital team you will be involved in building and maintaining our clients public-facing website & transactional web applications. There is a very positive feeling within our teams and a can-do attitude to finding the right solution to business requirements. We work in small cross-functional agile teams, delivering real business benefit on a regular schedule into production with good tech, with an emphasis on continuous improvement
Skills:
- You have worked using an Agile Software Delivery approach and have experience of working within a highly collaborative and cross-functional Agile environment
- Our agile teams are proud of the quality products they produce therefore 'quality is every-thing' and this is something you must demonstrate.
- You must have a background in development and maintenance of web based product solutions with a focus on quality, performance, reliability, scalability and resiliency.
- You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of using software engineering tools and best practices
Essential Skills:
- Strong Java 8+
- Expert with Spring, REST, Graph QL APIs and Microservices
- Experienced with HTML, Angular, Javascript tech eg jQuery, Vue.js, Single page apps
- Experienced with containerisation (Docker)
- Experienced with Maven, Git and CI tools (ideally Bamboo, Jenkins)
- Familiar with BDD and Cucumber
