Description
I am actively recruiting for a Site Reliability Engineer to work on an exciting project within our central Government client. You will have extensive AWS experience and have expertise with at least one programme language (Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript). Please apply for this contract if you have extensive software development experience.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building and running hosting platforms. This is a remote position but there may be occasional travel to the offices in London once normality resumes. This contract is a 6 month rolling position and it will be outside of IR35.
Key Skills:
- Have experience with AWS and the use of orchestration tools such as Terraform, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes
- Have extensive experience with at least one programming language such as (Ruby, Java, Python, JavaScript)
- Expertise with UNIX-like operating systems and technologies used for web applications, Linux, databases, backups, CDNs
- A strong understanding of software design principles
