Deployment Manager
Edinburgh or (London)

Experience and especially around Java, Spring, APIs, Databases technologies.

Client is looking for a Deployment Manager to create and assign track the project [module] work plans for delivery and also provide technical guidance for work completion.
Role
- Raising risks, issues and escalation to senior management and customer
- To create all quality documents, collect metrics data and conducting Audits.
- To perform Value creation and KM activities
- To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards
- To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussion and to review technical documents
Must Have
1. Experience in required Java and associated technologies
2. Experience as a production support manager
3. Experience in DevOps.
Skills
- Should have at least 10+ years of IT experience and 5 years of experience in similar deployment role
- Should have strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Strong in in Agile methodology
- Understanding of IT infra structure and architecture
- Planning, coordination and active management of transformation releases for HBO transformation.
- Management of the definition of done across transformation initiatives, to include:
o Production Support runbook handover (inc. notifications, alerts, production maintenance, escalation paths, SLA, RPO, RTO etc). - Formation of deployment practice for transformation. This will be required to streamline the route-to-live and deployment overheads without sacrificing ANY quality.
- Contribute to the further adoption of DevOps practice for HBO transformation initiatives.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of application and production infrastructure DR proving for transformation.
