Description
An opportunity arises for a skilled Java Developer to join a global company on a 12 month INSIDE IR35 contract.
You will be responsible for scalability, controls, growth, observability (monitoring) within the project
You will also be cutting code but take ownership for the project and mentor junior developers.
Design solutions will be a strong suit of yours (not architecture) and taking ownership of problems and how to solve it. So this will suit someone who can stand up and take ownershi of problems and tasks themsleves
- Core Java - code, build, deploy
- Basic SQL understanding
- Software Engineering best practices
- Software engineering design skills
- Some Cloud is good
. UNIX systems and Shell Scripting
. Version control systems (git)
. Defining and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc)
. Sound understanding of OOP design and SOLID principles
. Highly motivated and self-driven
. Capable of designing systems and testing strategies
. Stakeholder management skills
