YOUR TASKS? Support on use of delivery platforms including private and public cloud platforms
? Design and implement infrastructure architectures optimized for performance, reliability, scalability, security and cost
? Ensure software releases are production ready by collaborating with software engineers and release managers to configure and execute appropriate performance, load and technical /stability tests
? Ensure the effective monitoring of all aspects of system and application behaviour, ensuring compliance with SLAs and performance requirements
YOUR PROFILE
? programming / scripting skills (for example Python, GO, Ruby, Java, JavaScript or C++)
? Experience with Infrastructure as a Service/Cloud computing (e.g., Amazon, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine, etc.)
? Working knowledge of virtualization and container solutions (e.g., Docker, ECS, Vagrant, etc.)
? Familiar with build tools and platforms (e.g., ANT, Electric Commander, Jenkins, Maven, etc.)
? Familiar with Source Control Systems (e.g., Mercurial, Subversion, GIT/Gerrit, etc.)
? Knowledge of network concepts and configurations (e.g., Load Balancing, Firewalls, port standards, SSH, etc.)
? Knowledge of file and block level storage platforms. Understanding of
concepts, protocols and configurations (e.g., NFS, S3, RAID, HDFS, CEPH, etc.)
? Security best practices (SSH, Certificate management, or standards such as PCI)
? Unix administration (CentOS, Ubuntu)
? Excellent debugging / problem solving skills – including ability to investigate and remedy software bugs if necessary
? Very strong communication and teamwork skills
? Agile /Scrum + related tools
? Very good spoken and written English and German
