Your Role
You will be part of a new product team that tackles mathematical problems to solve logistics questions. In collaboration with algorithm experts, you will implement the application and help shape the microservice strategy
You will support the team by:
Extending and connecting an optimization engine as a serverless computing service in Java/Kotlin to eliminate manual processes for our customers and achieve cost savings.
Test Driven Development
Performing code reviews for your team colleagues
Designing and implementing interfaces to external software
Contribute your ideas to the continuous development of our engineering practice
The Requirements
To be successful in this role, we believe you should bring at least three years of experience with Java
In addition, the following are important to my client:
Very good English proficiency to communicate with our international colleagues.
Experience with Microservices, Docker and Serverless Applications
High awareness for code quality (clean code principles)
Bonus if you:
Have experience with Scala/Kotlin
An interest in logistics
