On behalf of our client, an international financial service provider located in Prague, we are looking for an external resource with skills and abilities as stated below:
Full Stack Java Developer (f/m/x) financial area Prague - P0325
We are looking for a Java developer to join our clients team responsible for development of various (web) applications (Back End and Front End).
Their portfolio of applications enables and supports electric listing of securities on multiple trading platforms, helps to interact with customers and fulfills regulatory duties.
You will be part of the whole life cycle of software development - analysis and design, implementation of Back End and Front End, database design, test and maintenance/improvement of the software.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Software development using Java/JS
- Design and development of both Back End and Front End parts of the application(s)
- Analysis of business requirements
- Maintenance, improvement and support
Required skills and qualifications:
- Decent practical experience in architecture, design and development of Java applications
- Experience with some of Java/JS web frameworks as React, Angular, wicket, Spring, MVC
- Knowledge of SQL, experience with SQL databases
- Critical thinking, ability to identify problems ad propose solutions
- Fluent in English (Czech would be beneficial)
- Possibity of Hybrid work (both from home and from the office)
Preferred qualifications/skills - the following will be a plus:
- University degree (IT/Mathematics)
- Experience with Java ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
- Experience with REST API
- Experience with Bootstrap

- Initial contract duration: till end of December 2022

- Location: Prague
- This position can be done 50% remotely.
