My client has been established for 4 years and have become the leading social media intelligence platform primarily creating content for broadcasters. Now looking to move into the brand, marketing and advertising space; using data to understand what it is about a brand or campaign that resonates with an audience, as well as identify who those individuals are and how they feel.

This niche position includes working with our existing Natural Language Processing (NLP) based product that analyses and understands the way people react within social media posts.
I'm not just looking for an anonymous developer to join our existing dev team but someone who wants to jump head first into taking ownership over a new product offering, provide some leadership to less experienced members of the team and help us continue to innovate. The role will require you to move into the position of CTO within a few months and build the team out underneath you.
Senior Jave Developer Specification:
- Strong Java experience
- PHP, Javascript or NodeJS
- MySQL
- ElasticSearch
- Client facing web application development
- Linux services configuration and deployment e.g. apache2
- Developing and consuming RESTful APIs
- Version control systems - we use GIT
- AWS - we use EBS, EC2, RDS, SQS
- Machine learning or AI
- Continuous integration tools - we use Travis CI
- Automated testing tools - JUnit, PHPSpec, Behat
- Experience mentoring junior developers
