Java Low Latency Electronic Trading Developer - FX Front Office Investment Bank.

Looking for a strong Java FX E-trading Developers to work with trading, Front Office and research, developing low latency, pricing and connectivity systems.

Looking for 5 years experience of Java low latency FX development with Front Office FX pricing or hedging experience

Skills:-

  • Strong Java development skills including experience with multi-threaded
  • Experience of FX/FWD business and/or experience of high-performance/low latency development.
  • Highly motivated to work directly with traders
  • A computer science/equivalent degree
  • C# desirable
  • Strong communication skills

Role:-

This role involves working closely with trading, Front Office and research as part of a small team to develop and maintain low latency pricing and connectivity systems.

The role is focused on our significant but incremental revamping programme to spot and forward pricing engines, as well as the continuous introduction of latest low latency technology and architecture.

The FX eTrading group is a global team providing services directly to the global Spot and Forward FX business within the largest bank in the Euro zone by deposits. The team is concerned with the development, support and release of solutions providing discreet functionality, driven by the global business. The systems are used globally with major server hubs in London, NY, Tokyo and Singapore.

The business has over 100 traders in 5 centres, and is headquartered in London. Its management is committed to raising its level to a position within the top 5 of FX banks through investment in the business and technology.
