Senior Java Developer required.
A Senior Java Developer is required by one of Montash's clients - who are a global leader in financial services - on an initial six month contract in Amsterdam. It is important for the Java Developer to have a strong background in developing business critical applications.
The Senior Java Developer will be working on a greenfield project for this prestigious institution and being a highly competent core-Java (J2SE) developer is essential. You will have experience of working with Java 7 or Java 8, RESTful API build and integration, Spring and Maven. Any experience with AWS, Docker and microservices will be great but by no means essential.
In an ideal world you will also understand the importance of working across operations and development teams, playing a pivotal role in improving application management, delivery, continuous integrations and deployment.
To summarise, the Senior Java Developer must have the following skills and experience:
- Java

- Spring
- Maven
The following are nice to haves:
- AWS
- Docker
- Experience of a DevOps environment
Alongside expert technical expertise you will also be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with business people and stakeholders at all levels.
