For our client in Amsterdam we are looking for an enthusiastic Scrum master.
Role:
The Scrum master coaches one or more DevOps teams on their agile journey. You interact with the product owner, management and facilitate the teams as servant leader. With your deep knowledge of the scrum process you enable the teams to continuously improve.
You are the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management if needed. You are enthusiastic and have an attitude of empowerment and transparency. You are able to lead a team to self-organization.
Experience:
- Excellent communication, relationship and community building skills
- Experienced (> 3 years) scrum master
- Understand the fundamentals of iterative development
- Apply this knowledge in teams that manage Commercial off the Shelf applications
- Understand incremental delivery and the value of metrics
- Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition
- Understand the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team
- Highly proficient Dutch & English communication skills (verbally & written)
- MS-Office tools, capable of manipulating data in Excel or MS-Access.
- Technical background in Java is highly preferred
