Proteus Europe is searching for a speaking French or Dutch Javascript developer available to work in a long term contract for one of our clients in Belgium.

Your New role:-
The service will be provided within the ETRM delivery center teams responsible for a number of different components such as:
- deal capture component
- master-data management tool developed using OutSystems
- in-house developed deal services and position management tools (with excel interaction) in C#
- in-house developed valuation and risk-management tool in C++
- Back Office quality control and deal confirmation workflow implementation in Java
- Invoicing tool developed using the Outsystems platform and reporting layer in QlikView.
Focus of the service will be working on the XRoad project which aims at providing a single gateway to Accounting and PandL Posting to the ERPs independently of the deal capture system and of the ERP.
Current project team is located in Paris. It is the intention to build a team on the topic in Brussels. Therefore the mission will start with a catch up period of 2 to 3 weeks in Paris before continuing the mission in Brussels. Frequent travel to Paris might be expected.
The main activities are:
- Working in a self-organizing team that covers analysis, development, testing, releasing and support
- Challenging and refining business requirements and opportunities
- Implement all aspects of an application design - Translate application use cases into functional applications, design, coding, security, error logging, debugging, scalability, code reviews, development environment configuration, delivering and testing.
- Deliver services to users with the highest level of satisfaction.
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code, as per high standard of software quality, design and testing principles of the team while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget
- Provide workload estimations
- Support continuous improvement of the services and applications. Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Write and update technical documentations in English and make them available to the team. Provide training to other team members.
- Work in close collaboration business stakeholders/users and business analysts, architects, other IT development teams - Provide effective and timely communication to all relevant teams
